Last year Domus Homes signed contracts for a renovation and first floor addition to a semi house in Russell Lea, Inner West, Sydney. Modernisation works to this house include the design and construction of an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The first floor addition will comprise 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a breakout area.
We are pleased to announce that the contracts have now been signed for a renovation and first floor addition to the adjoining semi in the pair, which will result in an integrated, complimentary, and harmonious design for both, benefiting the owners with economies of scale in construction.
Works to the adjoining semi most recently under contract include a first floor addition featuring a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk in robe; and two further bedrooms.
Combined planning and construction approval is to be sought for both of the pair of semi’s under the complying development process, determined by the council or accredited certifier. This process offers home owners advantages in terms of fast tracking approvals, with considerable savings when building or renovating a house under complying development.
