About This Project
New House and Pool in South Coogee, Eastern Suburbs, Sydney

The brief for this knockdown rebuild new house and pool project in South Coogee was for a double garage with internal access, a guest room and rumpus room with a shower bathroom and pool on the lower ground floor level. On entry level an open plan living, dining, kitchen and large balcony were required plus a study and bathroom. On the top level a master bedroom with an en suite and walk in robe were required plus an additional two bedrooms and a bathroom. A casual sitting room was also required.
This knockdown rebuild new house and pool was to be an ultra modern design with bold external colours and light internal colours. Large sliding doors opening up onto the sea views as well as some picture frame windows were provided.
Key elements included sea side colours and themes, cross flow ventilation, privacy and large seamless inside/outside areas in a contemporary and ultra modern designed house. Views and privacy had to be maximised.
