About This Project
Design and Build a New Luxury House in Carlton, Sydney
Domus Homes has recently completed a knockdown rebuild new luxury house in Carlton, Bayside Council, Sydney.
Working with Domus Homes Director, David Edelstein, the clients were provided with a Concept to Completion custom design and project management peace of mind project delivery.
This North facing, four bedroom and three bathroom luxury new home over two levels was designed by the Domus Homes’ custom designer in a modern, contemporary style, built in double brick and concrete.
Domus Homes gained approval using a CDC (Complying Development Certificate) thus avoiding Council which made the approval process much easier, quicker and cheaper. Domus Homes is increasingly using CDC’s for project approvals throughout Sydney.
Additional environmental factors were included in the design such as cross flow ventilation, underfloor heating, double glazing doors and windows, rainwater collection tanks, solar, maximised insulation throughout and roof overhangs for shade in Summer whilst allowing for sunshine ingress throughout Winter.
