About This Project
Renovations to the existing california bungalow included the construction of a new bathroom, laundry and study, plus general painting and ceiling repairs. The client innially wanted the extension containing the kitchen, living, dining area to mimic the existing california bungalow but opted instead for an ultra modern, modular style ground floor addition. The open plan kitchen, living, dining area in the modular extension soars to a three and a half meter ceiling. North facing windows were constructed to let in light and warmth. Sliding doors overlooking the back garden and newly consructed entertainment deck frame the view of the level back garden.
